Haps Hungry House Christmas Window painting

While Mary decorated Hap’s Hungry House for the Christmas season, I painted their windows. I had fun with snowballs with this one. Visit Hap’s, on Stony Plain Road to see the whole collection of Christmas icons on snowballs!

Cleaning off some of my Window Paintings

A few clients will have me back to clean off my window painting. This doesn't happen often and let's face it, I'd hate to have to go back to each place that I painted at this past holiday season to clean their windows! Today was a huge cleaning day at Western GMC because not only was I cleaning off Christmas stuff (and they had me paint a lot of that), but 3 promotions were over which I had painted on 5 of their big windows! I think it took me about 9 hours to clean. Needless to say, my I'm one stiff puppy tonight! Here's hoping that I bounce back well and wake up miraculously pain free!

There's something kinda cool in all the globs of paint in my bucket. Makes a girl wanna paint a canvas and do a little bit of splattering! Now to squeeze in a little bit of "Paint-Just-Cause-I-Wanna" time. Wish me luck.

Edmonton Motors has Santas!

My last location for the 2012 Christmas season for window painting ... Edmonton Motors in downtown Edmonton! The first little Santa with the bobble on his hat going straight out the side, can be found in the Service Department. The big waving Santa is looking out out onto Jasper Avenue waving at everyone going by.  I love both versions of Santa. I really never get tired of drawing the great guy! I wonder how I'll draw 'n paint him differently next year?!

Window Painting at The Church of Scientology, Edmonton

Window Painting at The Church of Scientology, Edmonton
Window Painting - carollers, - Edmonton
I was asked to paint carollers at The Church of Scientology in downtown Edmonton this week. Sets of carollers on each side with them having a decorated Christmas tree in the middle!

I'm going to be busy this week and the next doing Christmas window painting. I always try and do a new little twist for the people I paint for each year. For them and for me - after all, I don't want to be bored doing them and I like trying to come up with new images for them. So this is the beginning of a lot of new posts showing my window painting every day! May my shoulder muscles hang in there! ….

Window Painting for Edmonton Motors

Edmonton Motors Chevrolet Cadillac
I recently painted windows at Edmonton Motors in downtown Edmonton. Someone there commented that they'd never had their windows painted. Nice that they asked me to break tradition! It was a nice atmosphere there and I sure spied a few cars that would look good in my driveway!
