Window Vinyl Art at the Great 88
The Great 88 at South Edmonton Common in Edmonton has been open a couple months.
The store owners, Dan and Antonia, found that their store front needed more pizzaz and wanted people to know what
The Great 88 was all about from the parking lot. They came up with phrases that best described their store and I came
up with images to go along with some of them. Pictured here is a BEFORE shot and some AFTER shots. The cartoon
images add interest and using the white vinyl will really make them stand out, especially on sunny days. These photos
were taken on a partially cloudy day.
The Great 88 carries thousands of items under $1.00 . . . . better than a dollar store!
Please visit Antonia and Dan's Great 88, they are good people.
in the fall and winter I'll enjoy the warm colours in this painting
My Original painting .....
......? cover with texturizer
Close-up of texturizer. Cool stuff!? It was fun gooping it on.
..... paint till you can't see the tulips anymore and you've got a different look!
I'm going to hang this new paintingabout 6 inches higher but here it is. Who knows if I'll be putting on more paint here and there every once in awhile.?
When I asked my son what he thought of it he said, "What's it supposed to be? It's kinda weird Mom."
I guess he's a bit too used to seeing my very detailed, realistic paintings.
I think that's why I like this one (for now) because it's different and for the fall and winter I'll enjoy the warm colours in it.?
