A mural done for the Indoor Play Area at City of Edmonton's Terwilleger Recreation Centre

A mural done for the Indoor Play Area at City of Edmonton's Terwilleger Recreation Centre.
( 2051 Leger Road, Edmonton, AB T6R 0R9 (780) 442-5311)

The Indoor Play Area has a stage that had blank walls. Our hope is by adding these characters that are performing and play acting, that it will give the kids the idea to do the same!

You can only see part of the mural from the hallway windows which is a bit of a shame. My personal favourites are the little boy on the moon and "Canadian Girl"!

Of course the characters and mural layout was designed by me as well as the painting of it.

These doors slide open-and-closed for a pretty wacky effect with the cars.

Looking at the Bright Side of Life!

Here is lookin' at the bright side of life!

As an Edmonton artist I get to meet a lot of interesting people, most are out at an event enjoying the brighter side of life.  I often get to go to parties, weddings, special events and community outings to draw caricatures or do face painting.  Companies, organizations and sports teams contact me to design graphics and logos.  Others have me add cartoons to their advertisements.  I have done many paintings,  whether it be murals or on canvas.  These commissioned paintings are perfect for home or office.  Businesses also contact me to design signs, or do window painting.

I like what I do and feel lucky that I get to see people who get to look at bright side of life

Window art for Hobby Alley

Window vinyl art on the west side of Hobby Alley's Edmonton westend location at 9962 170 Street, Edmonton, AB T5T 5L5.  give them a call (780) 477-0101.

I did both design and installation. These windows are each about 4 feet wide.

The images are big, simple and bold for catching the eye of the huge amount of drive-by traffic they get.

Mural for the Laugh Shop on Whyte Ave

A mural for The Laugh Shop, at their new location 2nd floor at 103rd and Whyte Avenue in Edmonton. The mural is of people laughing and a few comedians. See if you recognize a couple locals: someone from Perugia Salon & Spa and someone from Chili's, two of the neighbouring businesses! The mural was painted in acrylic paints with anti-graffiti coverage.

Oil City Roadhouse - CFR window paintings

This is my latest window painting for Oil City Roadhouse and the Canadian Finals Rodeo week celebration.
It was decided to have most of the images quite high on the windows for two reasons
  • visibility when the bar is full of people and

  • so that people won't try to wreck them.

  • Crazy what people will do in a bar! Have a great CFR week everyone

  • Remember if you drink then, don't drive.

  • Take the LRT door-to-door between Oil City Roadhouse and CFR [at rexall place].
  • LRT - Corona station & LRT - Coliseum station
  • Painting on bedroom wall for a little girl!

This was for a little girl's room who loves Tinkerbell.
    Who doesn't love Tinkerbell?!

  • Don't forget I'll be at Framestudio Sat Sept 29 [2-4 PM.]

  • send me an email re: a painting/project for Christmas or other art project(s).
